Experienced IT/DevOps administrator

Reach Analytics, a cloud predictive marketing company based in Redwood City, CA, is seeking to hire an experienced IT/DevOps administrator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent trouble-shooter, detail-oriented and thorough, security-minded, even-tempered, and self-motivated. We need someone who can document effectively and communicate well, including the ability to diplomatically say “no” when user requests don’t conform to security requirements.

The job requires occasional after hours and weekend work, and will share “on call” responsibilities outside normal hours with the head of IT/IS. Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and server assembly are also required.

Other skills useful in our environment include: scripting and automation, Python, SQL optimization, security improvement, user training, network design, process improvement and documentation, reliability improvement.

You will

  • Keep the systems running and up to date (hardware, software, network, and cloud)
  • Write scripts to automate, monitor, and support our clouds services in AWS
  • Troubleshoot issues and find solutions
  • Support and train our users (onsite and remote), and external customers
  • Administer accounts, backups, inventory, network, servers, etc.
  • Maintain and improve documentation

Skills

  • 4+ years Windows/Server technical support and administration experience
  • 3+ years experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell scripting
  • 2+ years experience with Active Directory automation, Group Policy, NTFS permissions
  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, MSCA is a plus
  • Python / scripting / automation (preferred)

Data engineer, analytics

Reach Analytics, a cloud predictive marketing company based in Redwood City, CA, is seeking to hire a data engineer to join our software development team.

The ideal candidate will be a reliable and adept programmer who is a proven self-starter, detail-oriented, and organized. You will be hungry for a level of engagement and contribution that can only be obtained in a small, close-knit, and dedicated team, and be driven to roll-up your sleeves, dive in, and contribute substantially to the development and launch of cloud-based predictive applications.

We are looking for a data engineer with a strong programming background, who is adept at using Python and other open source tools/libraries/frameworks to clean, transform and load data. This person will be responsible for onboarding customer/vendor datasets, building a master data warehouse for various business customers. In addition, this person will be responsible for overall automation of the whole process, while monitoring and generating appropriate reports.

Skills

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields
  • 3+ years experience building ETL data pipelines
  • 3+ years experience with Python, Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and other toolkits

You will

You will
